It’s always good to reflect back, even as you look forward. Now that it’s all said and done, 2012 was a year of dramatic change for me and my family:
We sold a house.
Lived with my in-laws for 5 months.
Bought a new place.
It was also a year of travel and adventure:
We took my oldest daughter to New York City to celebrate her thirteenth birthday.
My wife went to Cambodia.
The family took our annual Spring Break trek to Destin, Florida.
Mandy and I took a ministry team to Honduras.
A family getaway to Gatlinburg.
And I somehow found myself once again in the Holy Land (just weeks before missile fire began raining down on Tel Aviv).
What a crazy-beautiful-sad-joyous-transitional-celebration of a year! What anticipation for the year to come!
Thanks to all of you who share my pontifications on a weekly basis here at BeyondTheRisk. My stats sheet say this site was somehow visited over 27,000 times this year. Geez! I’m not sure how many real human people that represents, but if you’re reading this you’re the one that matters. Thank you! I love writing, and I love that a few of you choose to read and interact with what I have to share here. I hope we can do it more in 2013.
Here are the top seven (greater than 5 less than 10, yes random) most-read posts from 2012:
